Up for your consideration is a magnificent Bebe Jutta Puppe Doll.  Made in Germany, she measures approximately 25.5" in height.  Her stock number is #23016 68.  She is advertised as having a Paper Pulp Body.  Her head appears to be bisque.  I assume the Paper Pulp Body means it is pressed forming a hard firm material.  Her limbs are jointed at the neck, arms, hips, knees, elbos, and wrist and ankle joints so she is fully poseable.  Her face is lovely.  I am not a collector of these dolls but I assume she is all original.  Her dress is a soft silk material and does show it's age with some tears and tadders, but it still hangs properly and has just become thread worn over time due to the delicate nature of the fabric.  Her limbs and paint appear to be very nice overall with the exception of a few paint rubs in various places on the body and limbs and the finger on her right hand has been repaired.  Her face is beautiful and pouty and features parted lips with teeth showing.  Not sure if her eyes are supposed to sleep or not, but they remain open most of the time.  I was able to work with them and snap a photo of her eyes closed, but it took a little work to acheive that.  Her box is very britle and shows much wear.  One end is missing so I have recreated a box to fit and support her original inside for support and to aid with shipment.  The sides of the box are secured with a type of metal corner staple, it is pulling apart at the corners as well.  The top side of the box is just a flat piece of cardboard from her original box, but the side pieces have long since fallen away.  I would imagine for a doll that is well over 100 years old, this is not uncommon wear if the box is still around at all.  Her shoes appear to be made of a leather material and have white shoestrings that tie in front.  She wears delicate white socks, an undershirt or nightshift, 2 1/2 skirt slips, bloomers, and her dress mentioned above.  She also has pierced ears and wears what I assume are original earrings for the period.  Her hair is not glued on and can be easily removed.  I assume it is a real human wig as it feels that way, but not for certain on that one.  Please see photo for marking on the back of her neck.  She also has pink padded paper with straw tucked inside which I assume are authentic and original to her.  They are also showing some wear, but amazing have survived all these years.  We have dones our best to describe her as accurately as possible, but please know she is an antique and her age shows a little as would be expected.  I don't know her exact age, but I would guess she is Mid to late 1800's at best guess. Any questions are advised prior to purchase, please ask, and I'll do my best to answer.  She will arrive well packed and insured against potential shipment damages.
